Original Dürkopp Adler bobbin, reference DA 245 001660, for 867 series machines. It is the largest-capacity bobbin fitted on the M-TYPE platform, designed for heavy sewing where stopping to rewind costs time.

When a bobbin needs changing

Same as with the other series: it is discarded as soon as it shows knocks, burrs or play on the shaft. On compound feed work with leather or canvas, a bent bobbin shows sooner than on fine fabric, because the working tension is higher.

Parts change between subclasses of the same series. The full subclass is on the head’s rating plate, and it is the detail that avoids a wrong order. If you do not have it to hand, send us a photo of the plate and another of the fitted part by WhatsApp to 659 73 09 68 and we will identify it.
