Original spare parts for industrial sewing machines

At Maquinorya we work with original spare parts and with parts from OEM manufacturers such as Cerliani, which makes hooks and bobbin case openers for many brands of industrial machinery. This allows us to guarantee maximum performance, greater durability and full compatibility with your equipment, avoiding breakdowns and lost productivity caused by non-original parts.

Which spare part your machine needs and how often it is replaced

A machine standing still costs more than any spare part. We work with original or OEM parts, never with cheap copies, because a part that fits does not always work the same: the tolerance changes, the wear changes and it ends up damaging components that cost ten times more than the part you tried to save on. More than forty years of technical service have given us something that isn't in any catalogue: knowing what breaks on each model, how often, and what is worth keeping in the drawer before it happens.

Not all parts behave the same, and it is worth distinguishing three families because the buying criteria are different for each.

Consumables

They always wear out and replacing them is routine, not a breakdown.

Needles. This is the part that causes the most problems and gets the least attention. The needle system (134, 134-35, DPx17, TVx3 and so on) is set by the machine, not by workshop habit: fitting the wrong system upsets the relationship between needle and hook and causes skipped stitches that people then look for in the tension. Thickness and point type do depend on the material: round point for fabric, cutting point for leather and technical materials. A blunt needle breaks thread, marks the garment and ends up scratching the needle plate.

Oil and lubrication. A pure consumable, but not a trivial one: high-speed machines need low-viscosity white oil, and a thicker one heats the hook and shortens its life.

Wear parts

They last months or years depending on the workload, and they deteriorate gradually: the machine doesn't stop, it gets slowly worse until someone gets used to working badly.

Hooks and shuttles. The heart of stitch formation. A hook with a worn point causes intermittent faults that are almost always mistaken for a tension problem. On Dürkopp Adler it is the most requested spare part for the 261, 867 and 669 series.

Bobbins and bobbin cases. A dented bobbin or a bobbin case with a tired spring upsets the bobbin thread tension. They are cheap parts worth having in duplicate: replacing them costs less than diagnosing them.

Presser feet, feed dogs and needle plates. Together they hold and move the material, which is why they are changed together, as a set. Fitting a new feed dog against a worn plate leaves marks on the garment.

Belts, springs and thread guides. Silent wear. A stretched belt reduces torque at high speed without anyone connecting one thing with the other.

Components

Motors, control boxes, solenoid valves and pedals. Preventive maintenance doesn't help here: they are replaced when they fail, and this is where prior diagnosis matters most, because the symptom rarely points to the cause.

How to identify the exact part

This is where most time is lost and where people make the most mistakes. You need two pieces of information:

The full machine model, with subclass. "A Dürkopp 867" is not enough: parts differ between an 867-190020 and an 867-290122. The subclass is on the head's rating plate.

The parts list reference, if you have it. It is the number shown in the manual next to the drawing of the part.

If you have neither, a photo of the machine's rating plate and another of the fitted part work just as well. You can send them to us on WhatsApp at 659 73 09 68 or through the contact page.

Brands we supply spare parts for

We supply original spare parts for Dürkopp Adler, Pfaff, Juki, Brother, Typical, Pegasus, Kansai Special, Kuris and SWF, as well as other brands to order.

For Dürkopp Adler we usually cover the 261, 267, 271, 669, 669 Delta, 867, 867 Delta, 868 and 69series, which are the most common in Spanish upholstery, leather goods and automotive workshops.

Part of the spare parts range is available to buy directly in the shop; the rest is supplied to order once the part has been identified.

Frequently asked questions

Why original or OEM spare parts?

Because the difference between an original part and one that simply fits lies in the tolerances, and those tolerances are what keep the machine in time. With hooks, bobbins and bobbin cases you notice it straight away: they upset the whole assembly and shorten the life of much more expensive parts.

Can you identify the part if I don't know the model?

Yes. A photo of the head's rating plate and another of the fitted part are usually enough.

Do you deliver throughout Spain?

Yes. We supply original spare parts and provide technical service throughout Spain.

How do I know whether the problem is the needle or the hook?

If the skipped stitches always appear at the same point in the cycle or when sewing in a particular direction, it points to the timing between needle and hook. If they are random and get worse with speed, look at the needle and thread first. In any case, changing the needle comes first: it costs pennies and rules out half the causes.

Do you also work on machinery you don't sell?

Yes. We provide service and supply spare parts for the main brands in the industry, whether or not the machine was bought from us.

Which part to check according to the symptom

Most calls to technical service start by describing a symptom, not a part. This table lists the most common causes of each one so you can check the obvious before ordering anything.

SymptomUsual causeWhat to check first
Skipped stitchesWorn needle, wrong size or incorrectly fitted; needle-to-hook timing out of adjustmentNeedle and hook point
Thread breaksBurrs along the thread path, excessive tension or a damaged needleHook, needle plate, guides and tension units
Puckered seamUpper thread tension too high or presser foot pressure incorrectly setTension units and check spring
Marks or damages the fabricNeedle too thick or with the wrong point for the materialNeedle size and point type
Irregular stitch lengthWorn feed dog teeth or insufficient pressure on the materialFeed dogs and presser foot
Metallic noise when sewingLack of lubrication or wear on the hookOil level and condition of the hook
Ragged edge on an overlockerWorn knife: it stops cutting cleanly before you notice it in the machineUpper and lower knife
Bobbin runs out all the timeHook too small for the thread you are usingHook type and thread size

If the problem persists after checking all this, it is not a consumable: it is an adjustment or internal wear. Tell us the symptom with the brand and model and we will look at it.
