Automatic sewing systems
Automatic sewing systems for series production, in collaboration with A-S-S GmbH (Germany).
What is an automatic sewing system?
Automatic sewing systems improve and speed up garment manufacturing processes, reducing the operator's effort and increasing the precision and repeatability of operations. There are two main types: integrated workstations and automatic sewing units.
Integrated workstations
These are industrial sewing machines adapted or equipped with specific systems to make a particular sewing operation easier. For example, they can carry out part of the process in a programmed way, such as setting and sewing a jacket sleeve. Although the equipment makes part of the operation easier and automates it, the operator still has to carry out certain movements, such as positioning, handling or guiding the garment during the process.
Automatic sewing units
Automatic units are designed to carry out a sewing operation completely automatically. The operator's work is mainly limited to placing or hanging the garment on the unit and starting the cycle. From that moment, the system carries out the programmed sewing process automatically, with no need to intervene during the cycle.
The main difference is the degree of automation: an integrated workstation makes part of the operation easier and automates it, while an automatic unit can run the sewing cycle on its own.
