How the catalogue is organised

Maquinorya has been equipping garment factories and workshops for more than forty years. The catalogue follows the real order of a production floor (cutting, sewing, embroidery, welding and maintenance) and each family has its own page with the models and technical data sheets.

Industrial cutting

Where it all begins. Manual cutters, spreading tables, single-ply CNC systems for leather and technical materials, and multi-ply systems for series production. Depending on how it is sized, this is the stage that saves or wastes the most fabric.

Sewing machines

The bulk of the catalogue: lockstitch, compound feed, cylinder bed, chainstitch, overlock, coverstitch and cycle machines for buttonholes, buttons and bartacks. There is no do-it-all machine, so the choice is made by operation and by material.

Embroidery machines

Single and multi-head industrial embroidery machines for uniforms, sportswear, caps and personalisation. What decides the purchase is the size of the average order, not the annual volume.

Welding machines

Stitch-free joining for materials that cannot take a needle hole: heat sealing, hot air, hot wedge and ultrasonic. This is the technology behind rainwear, marine products, the medical sector and sun protection.

Automation

Automatic units for pockets and piping, overedging, programmable sewing systems and integrated workstations. They automate the repetitive operation that decides the quality of the garment.

Sun protection machinery

Sewing, welding, cutting and storage applied to awnings and technical canvas, which have their own requirements for width, weight and watertightness.

Spare parts

Needles, hooks, bobbins, bobbin cases, presser feet and original components. Part of the range is available in the shop and the rest is supplied to order once the part has been identified.

Accessories

What turns a machine into a workstation: stands fixed, adjustable or electric, table tops machined for each machine, and motors with direct drive. We work with Kessler (Germany) and Carcano Egidio (Italy). A stand at the right height saves more hours than you might think.

The attachments fitted to the machine also count at the workstation: the Grau sewing attachments (binders, folders, funnels and edge guides) and the WEDA pneumatic cutters (tape cutters, guillotines, chain cutter, table cutter and belt loop trimmer), which take the work of folding and cutting by hand away from the operator.

Consumables

Heat sealing tapes, ultrasonic tapes and industrial needles: the material used up every day. We help you choose the tape for your fabric and machine, and order the right quantity.

Where to start if you are not sure what you need

Start from the operation, not the machine. "I need to sew 4 mm leather with a double lockstitch" leads to a useful answer; "I want a good machine" leads nowhere.

Have the material at hand. In cutting and welding, a sample is worth more than any data sheet: two canvases of the same weight from different suppliers may need different settings.

Count the working hours per day. That is what separates a mid-range machine from one built for three shifts, and it is what people underestimate most when comparing prices.

Ask about spare parts before you buy. A machine without spare parts available in Europe becomes expensive the day it breaks. You can see which manufacturers we work with under brands.

If in doubt, tell us about the part and the material through our contact page and we will tell you which machine family solves your case.
