What each brand is good at

No brand is the best at everything. Each manufacturer has built its reputation on a specific type of operation, and choosing well means matching the machine to the job, not looking for the best-known name. This is how our catalogue is divided.

Heavy-duty sewing and difficult materials

Dürkopp Adler has been manufacturing in Bielefeld for more than a century and a half and is the benchmark in compound feed machines for upholstery, leather goods and automotive. Vetron covers the same ground of heavy and technical materials. PFAFF Industrial is the most versatile brand in the catalogue, because it combines classic industrial sewing with welding technology. Zoje adds its 860 series of compound feed machines in flatbed, post bed and cylinder bed versions for upholstery, car interiors and leather goods.

Lockstitch and garment production

Juki is the world's largest manufacturer and its DDL series is probably the most widely used flatbed machine on the planet. Brother brings electronics and energy-saving control with the NEXIO series, as well as its programmable pattern sewers. Typical is the option when the aim is to equip well without overspending.

Knitwear and finishing

Pegasus is the Japanese chainstitch specialist: overlock and coverstitch machines that are practically a standard in sportswear. Kansai Special leads in multi-needle chainstitch, which is what handles waistbands, belts and elastics.

Embroidery

SWF manufactures in South Korea and is one of the most established embroidery brands outside the big Japanese groups. Fortever completes the range of single and multi-head embroidery machines .

Cutting, spreading and welding

KURIS Spezialmaschinen manufactures in Germany the spreading and cutting technology we use to equip cutting rooms. Jentschmann manufactures in Switzerland cutting, bonding and ultrasonic welding for membrane materials. Automated Sewing Systems provides automation solutions.

Consumables and materials

Groz-Beckert is the world's leading industrial needle manufacturer and, in practice, the industry standard. Gluetex manufactures heat-activated adhesive tapes and films and seam sealing tapes in Germany. Bamalosa manufactures sealing tapes and TPU films for technical, sports and protective clothing, as well as custom waterproof zips. Cerliani completes the catalogue of auxiliary materials.

Stands and table tops

Kessler manufactures ergonomic stands in Germany with crank or electric height adjustment, and CNC-machined table tops. Carcano Egidio manufactures in Italy table tops with different edges and shapes, and standard iron stands, for working standing up and cantilevered for leather goods.

Sewing attachments

Grau manufactures in Germany binders, folders, hemmers, edge guides and piping attachments, each one made for a specific machine model and for the tape or fabric you are going to sew.

Why the brand matters when a breakdown happens

Choosing a brand is not just choosing a machine: it is choosing how easily you will get a part in five years' time. A cheap machine from a brand with no distribution in Europe becomes expensive the day the hook breaks and nobody knows where to get one.

We work with these manufacturers precisely because they have a track record and spare parts available. We supply original spare parts and provide technical service throughout Spain.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best industrial sewing machine brand?

There isn't one. The useful question is a different one: what material do you sew, what operation do you repeat and how many hours a day does the machine work? With those three facts the brand almost chooses itself.

Is a budget brand worth it?

It depends on the use. For a workshop that does not work three shifts, a well-maintained mid-range brand performs perfectly well. What never pays off is a machine without spare parts available on the European market.

Do you work with machinery that is not in the catalogue?

Yes. We provide service and supply spare parts for the main brands in the industry, whether or not the machine was bought from us. Ask us through our contact page.
