KESSLER is a German family business founded in 1897 by Wilhelm Kessler in Nusplingen (Baden-Württemberg, Germany), where it still has its headquarters and factory. It began making sewing machine stands in 1953 and in 1958 developed what was probably the world’s first height-adjustable stand. Since then it has been the benchmark in sewing workstation ergonomics: the electrically adjustable KES-2000 appeared in 1992.
It is the only manufacturer in the world that produces high-end stands, table tops and pedals itself. The whole process is done in-house: laser cutting, welding robot, powder coating and CNC woodworking. Table tops are also made at its plant in Przeworno (Poland), and it has a sales office in Atlanta (USA). Around half of its production is exported.

KESSLER manufactures stands, pedals and table tops for industrial sewing machines in Nusplingen (Germany). It is the benchmark in sewing workstation ergonomics: stands adjusted in height by crank or electric motor, so that each operator works seated or standing at the right height.
The range goes from the KSV, the basic sheet-steel stand that has been in factories for decades, to the electrically adjusted KES-2000 and the custom-made KES-2000-U for large mattress or automotive machines. The table tops come from its own CNC woodworking shop, including the MTS modular system, awarded ‘Best of 2016’.

Where are Kessler stands made?
At KESSLER’s headquarters in Nusplingen (Germany), where the company has been manufacturing since 1897. Table tops are also made at its plant in Przeworno (Poland).
Which Kessler stand is best for working seated and standing?
The KES-2100, which adjusts the height by crank, or the KES-2000, which does it with an electric motor at the push of a button. Both have 400 mm of travel: from 685 to 1,085 mm without table top.
Do they fit any industrial sewing machine?
Yes. The table top is machined for your machine model. For heavy and fast machines we recommend the KES-B, and for very large machines the KES-2000-U, which is made to measure.
Can the table top be ordered to measure?
Yes. Kessler CNC-machines table tops for any machine and makes them in L, U or T shapes, fold-down, ESD antistatic or with the MTS modular system.
