DA 867 Saum

Sewing plant with binding feed for precise, efficient sewing of top and bottom hems on awnings. Includes inclined roller table, Dürkopp Adler head with compound feed and intermittent puller.

937 Volant

Special zigzag sewing machine for finishing awning valances. Motorised tape feed for smooth, tension-free guiding, adapted to different curve radii. Maximum speed approx. 3,200 rpm.

Which one fits your workshop

By operation, not by machine. Joining panels and side hems is the Sewsy 4.0; edge binding is the Kesa 4.0; top and bottom hems with binding are the DA 867 Saum; the curved valance is the 937 Volant. Most workshops start with the operation they repeat most.

Count metres of seam, not awnings. These plants pay for themselves through repeated seam length. If your production is short, very varied runs, it may make more sense to strengthen cutting.

Remember the material. Solution-dyed acrylic is always sewn; PVC can also be welded, which avoids piercing the fabric. Many workshops end up combining both technologies.
