What is a heat sealing machine?
Hot-air taping machines seal seams continuously on waterproof, breathable and water-resistant materials by applying a heat-activated adhesive tape. They are essential in the manufacture of workwear, protective clothing, outdoor and sportswear, footwear and automotive products.

Seam sealing tapes
The heat sealing machine applies a heat-activated adhesive tape over the seam using hot air and pressure. The tape must be compatible with the fabric and with the working temperature: we work with Gluetex SST sealing tapes and the whole range of seam sealing tapes and heat-activated adhesive tapes.
For outdoor, sports and protective clothing we also have tapes from Bamalosa: the three-layer tape for outdoor garments, applied at 450-530 °C, plain knit and lycra tapes, and EVA and taffeta tapes for medical coveralls. We send you a sample to test on your machine before you order.

What is differential feed and why does it matter? Differential feed means the two feed rollers can move at slightly different speeds, automatically compensating for differences in fabric tension. This makes it possible to seal elastic, very thick or delicate materials without distortion or wrinkles.
How does it differ from the 243/011? Both have dual motors, but the 245/011 adds differential feed and takes tapes up to 30 mm wide (compared with 25 mm on the 243), which places it for more demanding applications with premium materials.
