Jentschmann AG manufactures cutting, bonding and ultrasonic welding machines for membrane materials in Switzerland. Its main market is textile sun protection (awnings, screens, canvas), although its technology is also used for bedding, flags and digital print canvas, and in the filtration sector.
The advantage of ultrasonic technology over conventional sewing on these materials is that it cuts and seals in the same step: it doesn’t pierce, doesn’t fray and doesn’t compromise the watertightness of the canvas.
