When a bobbin case needs changing
With use, the tension spring loses strength and the thread slot gets worn. The result is a seam that pulls less tight underneath and that no adjustment of the top tension fully corrects. It is a cheap part that is worth replacing before you start chasing the problem elsewhere.
Before ordering: check the subclass
Parts change between subclasses of the same series. The full subclass is on the head’s rating plate, and it is the detail that avoids a wrong order. If you do not have it to hand, send us a photo of the plate and another of the fitted part by WhatsApp to 659 73 09 68 and we will identify it.
