Dürkopp Adler – Cometa VBR: inverted arm and front arm

Inverted or front arm of 260 or 400 mm on a Dürkopp Adler 267-373 head, compound feed, 1 or 2 needles.

What the VBR series is

The VBR series builds an inverted arm (rovescio) or front arm machine on the Dürkopp Adler 267-373 head, with compound feed and lockstitch. The 260 or 400 mm arm lets you sew tubular and closed pieces from the inside. Supplied complete with motor, stand, standard table top and pneumatic presser foot lift.

Frequently asked questions

What is an inverted arm machine?

The arm that holds the piece points the opposite way to usual, so a tubular or closed piece can be slipped over it and sewn from the inside.

260 or 400 mm arm?

That is the usable depth of the arm. With 400 mm you can reach further into long pieces such as covers, sleeves or bags.
