The FS700P is Pegasus’s flat seam machine (flatseamer): cylinder bed with feed-off-the-arm, four needles and six threads. It butts the two pieces together and covers them with stitching on top and underneath, so the seam stays flat, without bulk, and strong.
It has an oil barrier so it does not stain the garment, and knives to trim one or both edges.
