The E52L is Pegasus’s left-hand overlocker. It does the same as a normal overlocker, but the material goes in from the other side, which is why it is set up opposite a right-hand machine to sew both edges of a piece at once.
There are 1-needle subclasses with 2 or 3 threads and 2-needle subclasses with 4 threads, for joining or for turned hems. Those ending in W have a wide cloth plate.
