The PFAFF 335G Plus is the fully equipped version of the PFAFF 335G: a single-needle cylinder bed machine with compound feed and large hook, fitted with automatic presser foot lift, automatic backtack and thread trimmer, and with an electronic direct-drive motor with control panel.
- 51 mm cylinder arm for closed parts, curves and narrow areas
- Compound feed: feed dog, needle and alternating foot
- Large hook (G): more bobbin capacity and fewer changes
- Automatic presser foot lift, automatic backtack and thread trimmer
- Electronic motor with panel: needle position, backtacks and short sewing programmes
- 301 stitch (lockstitch), stitch length up to 6 mm
- Clearance under the foot up to 14 mm and alternating foot stroke up to 7 mm
Which workshop it is for
For leather goods, footwear and upholstery workshops that already produce in series and work with shaped parts: closing assembled bags, gussets, curved seams, binding and awkward areas. Compared with the PFAFF 335G Basic, the Plus version saves time on every seam: the foot lifts by itself, the seam is always backtacked the same way and the thread is cut at the end. With the electronic motor you can programme sections with a fixed number of stitches and sequences of backtack, seam and backtack, for repeatable quality part after part.
It is the arm machine we recommend in our advice on professional bag making, together with the PFAFF 2545 and Dürkopp Adler Gamma 767 flatbeds.
Equipment to suit the job
We configure the machine with the sewing parts (needle plate, feed dog, presser foot and needle), the binding guide, guides and stops to suit your material and the operation you will repeat every day.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the 335G Basic and the 335G Plus?
The seam is the same. The Plus adds automatic presser foot lift, automatic backtack, thread trimmer and a programmable electronic motor. In series production, those seconds per seam add up by the end of the day.
Do I need a cylinder bed if I already have a flatbed?
Yes, as soon as the part has a shape or is closed. In workshops with volume you find both: the flatbed for what is sewn flat and the arm machine for what is not.
