What a CNC sewing unit is for
The DA 911 sews programmed paths on a template: safety and decorative seams that have to come out exactly the same, part after part. It is common in car upholstery, technical textiles and leather goods, where a badly sewn seam is not a cosmetic flaw but a reject. Programs are created with the DACcad-Professional software.
Before deciding, it is worth working out how many identical parts you make and how many templates you would need. With very short, very varied runs, a good manual machine with an experienced operator sometimes pays off better.
